Our clients range from international utilities and asset owners to marine device developers, legislative bodies and small renewable technology installers.

 

Our 162 square meter workshop lies within 2 acres of ground and is within a 20 minute drive of Thurso, Wick and the main airports and ferry terminals in the county. We are 2.5 hours drive from Inverness airport and from either Wick or Inverness airports we can access practically any major location worldwide.

Marine5 has been formed to ensure that a Marine Renewables Central Control Room and engineering hub is built and becomes a focal point in the area for marine renewable companies and engineers to work out of during the marine device operational phase.

 

The area has significant engineering resource and skills as a result of being at the forefront of nuclear power generation for 50+ years. Key skills include operations and maintenance of assets, project management and site development and health and safety management. Marine5 is at the forefront ensuring that these skills are available when required by the companies operating in the Pentland Firth area.
